Media Accreditation Policy

BridgingTheGap Ventures’ media accreditation is intended to provide journalists working for legitimate and suitable media outlets with the tools and access required to report on our initiatives—whether it be BridgingTheGap® Forums, BridgingTheGap® Insights, BridgingTheGap® Alliance and/or BridgingTheGap® Training. This can be validated by providing us with proof of recently published work.

Media accreditation is also open to freelancers, contributors, analysts, filmmakers, crew, influencers, bloggers, YouTubers and podcasters, though these roles will be subject to a follow-up for verification.

BridgingTheGap Ventures will provide accredited media with exclusive access to interview relevant stakeholders and high-quality material in order to cover these initiatives. In return, it is expected that media accreditation holders credit BridgingTheGap Ventures as their source, and for any content generated or published, that BridgingTheGap Ventures is acknowledged or made reference to in some manner.
Our Code of Conduct provides a clear set of guidelines about the values and standards we uphold and expect everyone in the BridgingTheGap community to as well. When attending our BridgingTheGap Forums or reporting on our various initiatives, we ask that media be respectful of the lived experiences, interests, abilities and personal differences of participants as well as other media representatives.

Gaining media accreditation is subject to assessment and approval by BridgingTheGap Ventures and we reserve the right to approve or deny accreditation via the online application process.

BridgingTheGap Ventures also retains the right to cancel media accreditation at their discretion and at any time, which includes revoking invitations. Grounds for cancellation cover anyone with media accreditation that has had a change in circumstances and no longer meets the above criteria, standards and values held by BridgingTheGap Ventures.
