About Our NFT Initiative

About Our NFT Initiative

BridgingTheGap Ventures is launching a first-of-its-kind NFT initiative for global youth empowerment and elevating women in crypto at the Miami Art Week between the November 29 and December 5, with the goal of raising USD $11 million in support of the next generation of emerging artists and innovators. Limited edition NFTs will be showcased and up for auction including Frida Kahlo’s Family Metaverse (courtesy of Ezel Gallery), Rob Prior’s Stan Lee Legacy Collection, and The Glamorous 1950s: A High Fashion Art Collection gathered by Lorenzo Riva celebrating Balenciaga, the first great couturier (courtesy of Artvein) among many more.

With an incredible week-long line-up during Miami Art Week at the Sagamore South Beach Hotel, this initiative includes VIP buyer events, exclusive NFT drops and a gallery showcase elevating young artists around the world and their vision for the future.

After transaction fees and artist fees and honorariums, the net sales will be distributed as follows:

  • 30% reinvested into BridgingTheGap for the operation of our youth NFT program and to continue scale the impact of our youth upskill and innovation initiatives
  • 70% net sales will be allocated as “Impact Capital” and used to establish the YOUNGA fund—a novel, global fund dedicated to investing in and supporting youth-focused initiatives that advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Select NFT pieces in our collection already have an established charity beneficiary, in which case partial proceeds from the NFT will be donated to the organization.

The percentage of sales allocation, artist contributions and auction splits may vary based on the artist or contributing partner.
